If you’re working with a few more greys than you’d really like to, American Crew recommends their Precision Blend Peroxide 15 Volume Developer to work in with your natural hair colour and to produce optimal results for grey blending. Use in conjunction with American Crew Precision Blend Shades Hair Dye.

Aimed at men, these colours have a very short developing time and works for anyone with short hair who’d like to blend in a few greys. This isn’t the range to go for if you’ve got a lot of hair, or want to dramatically change your hair colour. However, if you just want to tidy up your short hair, you’re in the right spot.

Directions

This range is best used on clean hair, so start by washing yours. Then, take the American Crew Precision Blend colour that best matches your natural hair.

In a coloring bowl, mix the American Crew Precision Blend color with the 4.5% developer at a ratio of 1 + 1. About 20 ml are needed for hair 2.5 cm long.

Apply to your hair evenly (be sure to wear gloves and old clothes) and try and keep your application time under 4 minutes. Then, let the colour develop for a further 5 minutes, rinse well, and use conditioner. Job done.

1 tube = 40 ml = 2 applications on short hair or 1 application on long hair.

Developer at 4.5% - 15 vol. - 450 ml (11 to 22 colors).
